“Our goal is to support and encourage the growth and development of families from the Biblical Perspective in order to honor God through all our relationships across the lifespan.”
Each workshop will be 70 minutes long, to allow plenty of time for questions & answers.
The program will have a general session on Friday evening focusing on a key topic on registrants minds-(so register and tell us what you want to learn about)-last year’s voted topic was dating in today’s modern world. Meals will be provided with advance registration. Register as early bird before January 1 and get a personalized free special gift from the speakers panel.

About the Speakers
Pastor Ted Lam –
Pastor Bo & Patsy Holland-Bo and Patsy Holland have been married for 40 years having raised three children and blessed with seven grandchildren. For 35 years Bo and Patsy served as Missionaries with the North American Mission Board(NAMB), during which Patsy trained and led in the area of Senior Adult care & Administration and Bo focused on training church planters, helping to start new churches and revitalizing existing churches. Patsy is currently the Administrator for Tulsa Assisted Living and Broken Arrow Assisted Living. Bo received his Masters Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Bo and Patsy are founder and lead missionaries of MissionPoint Ministries where they serve, train and speak concerning spiritual and personal growth. MissionPoint’s purpose is to empower people to transform their world, their people, through God’s Love.
Jed & Michele Lam – Michele and Jed met while undergraduate students at the University of Chicago; Michele earned her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University. Prior to becoming a full-time mother, she was a Learning Specialist at a local elementary school. Michele has served as a small group coordinator for the Asian American chapter of Intervarsity, a youth group and junior high counselor, and most recently as a pre-k and kindergarten Sunday school teacher. She also serves on the parent board of her youngest son’s preschool. Michele has been married to her husband Jed (Pastor Lam’s son) for nearly 14 years and has been a stay-at-home mom for their four children. Michele is currently home schooling their 6 and 8 year olds while Jed is working full time and pursuing seminary studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Ken & Karen Winfrey – Ken & Karen met at the BSU of the University of Tulsa where Karen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Karen also has a Master’s in Family Science and Child Development. Karen’s background is Nursing with a clinical focus on Women’s Health across the Lifespan, especially Childbirth and Newborns. Karen Winfrey, MS, RN has a rich and varied experience in maternal newborn nursing that covers more than 25 years including overseas missions, community, hospital, parenting education program development, community education, and nursing education. Ken’s studies and background are in business, with a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern State University, including 12 years in owning and operating his own business. They began working with international students over 25 years ago when Ted Lam first began Bible Study meetings and have worked alongside him ever since then.
Andy & Dr. Candy Ting – Andy and Candy are first immigration immigrants from Malaysia to America. Both attended and graduated from Oral Roberts University, where they met. Andy works in the Financial Services Industry and has a CPA and Tax Accounting Firm in Tulsa, OK. He consults clients seeking to start and maintain small businesses throughout Oklahoma. Doctor Candy graduated from Oklahoma State University Medical School in 1986 and has been a Family Practice Physician in Tulsa, OK for over 25 years. They have one son, have been happily married for 32 years, and have served on various Boards and Offices such as Baptist Foundation, Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, Tulsa County Medical Society, Oklahoma Chinese Times, amongst others.
Jason Ting– Jason was born and raised in Tulsa, OK attended the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. He holds degrees from Tulane University in Biomedical Engineering, a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from OSU Center for Health Sciences, and an MBA from Oklahoma State University. He works in the Fields of Real Estate and Business Development, and has been happily married for almost one year.
